Through the act of weaving, I want to emphasise the human experience, as it is expressed throughout history and invite the viewer to think about the using paper. I tear / disassemble what I wrote and reassemble it. The decay of the material is illustrated as a mirror of the passing of time while the slight movement between the pieces of paper hints at the wind.
In the object – Human’s Reds – hidden a duality: sacred versus secular, totalitarian versus social, royal versus democratic, prestigious versus pop culture, spirit versus impurity, nobility versus simplicity. The weaving object that turns to one side, turns in the middle of the work to the other side, and comes to imply ideological transitions between right and left, inversions in space and discourse between them, similar to the constant movement of time and the undulating change between the poles in repeating history.
The physical and mental spirit, drive processes in space, time, and consciousness while constantly looking back and for and emphasise the duality and dichotomy in human nature since its inception and is expressed in social, political, spiritual, and psychological poles.
